G’day!
My name is Cameron Abel and I am the proud father of two beautiful boys aged 3and 6.
Although most of the time they are pretty good kids, nothing prepares parents for that delightful stage – The Terrible Two’s!
I decided to make this site to not only learn a lot more about how to deal with this behaviour for myself, but also to share it with all you other parents out there trying to get through this stage!
Please leave a comment or send me an email via my contact page for more info, questions or any feedback.
Good luck with your little treasures!

I was a single parent of three when few men got custody. One principle that helped was consistently distinguishing between the child and his/her behavior, this permitted addressing the behavior separately while expressing warm acceptance, hope and encouragement to the child. Practicing the AA concept of acceptance (p.417 Big Book) permitted me to remain calm. I permitted no TV but read with the kids 1-2 hours after supper before preparing for bed. One of the best decisions I made. Their mother remained a frequent part of their lives for which I’m grateful. They’re in their forties and fifties now and are solid people; as kids take over much responsibility for their own parenting while in adolescence some of the values came from famed Christian author George MacDonald whose work was part of that evening reading instead of TV. Best wishes, Greg
